Morningstar Golf Club is tucked neatly into the seaside community of Parksville… a popular holiday destination on Vancouver Island and a great place for a relaxing golf getaway, just 25 minutes north of Nanaimo and two hours north of Victoria.

With many championships to its name —including three PGA Canada events— the fairways and greens of Morningstar, were carved out of natural woodland areas under the watchful eye of award-winning course architect Les Furber. The course opened in 1991, and today you will encounter the sloping fairways, rolling undulations, well-conditioned greens, and strategically placed bunkers that were designed to challenge the potential of every golfer.

At 6,983 yards, Morningstar is a championship length golf course originally built in 1991 and designed by esteemed course architect Les Furber. The wide, well-maintained fairways and large quick undulating greens contribute to the unique character of this wonderful course. With multiple teeing options and four different length options per hole, Morningstar is a course that will challenge you to bring your very best game.

Morningstar has time and again proven its worth by hosting professional, national, and provincial events for both men and women. Morningstar has hosted three PGA of Canada events, two CN Future Links Pacific Championships, the 2007 BCGA Men’s Amateur, the 2010 Golf Canada Senior Ladies National Championships, the 2014 Golf Canada’s Women Tour, the 2016 Golf Canada University Championships, and the 2016 Pacwest College and Universities Provincial Championships.
