Rideau Lakes Golf and Country Club

Situated between Ottawa and Kingston, Rideau Lakes Golf & Country Club was officially opened on June 14, 1964.  The Club is unique as it was setup as a trust and is operated by a volunteer Board of Directors as a ‘not-for-profit’ entity.  For over 55 years, it has been challenging golfers with its hilly terrain and well-maintained greens and fairways.  Rideau Lakes is a 9-hole course, with panoramic views across the Upper Rideau Lake to the charming village of Westport, waiting to welcome all golfers from beginner to pro.  If you only have one course to play in the Rideau Lakes area of Eastern Ontario this is the one.

The Club is open to non-members and green fee players are always welcome.  A putting green, an area to practice chipping and a warm-up hitting net are available on site.  For those golfers who prefer to drive, gas golf carts are available for rent.  Après  golf, why not visit the club house and relax with friends while enjoying some refreshments from the bar or a delicious meal, freshly prepared by our in-house staff?  Enjoy the sunset from the veranda, which also gives a bird's eye view of the number nine hole; re-live those last few strokes. 

The course can be rented for private functions throughout the season.  In-house catering is also available for those who wish to round off their special event with a delicious meal, freshly cooked in the Club's own kitchen. 

Member activities include, Men's League, Ladies' League, Ladies' Mahjong, Mixed Fun Golf, Match Play, Club Championships and Men's Home and Home Exchanges with other area clubs.  If you are interested in membership, an application form can be found in the fees section.

Over the season, several Nine and Dine evenings are held.  While members primarily attend these, non-members & guests are also welcome.  The Club also hosts an annual Ladies' ‘Fore the Love of Golf’ event in June, giving the many ladies in the area an opportunity to meet and have fun with their peers on this beautiful course. Of course, Monday afternoons are especially exciting as all Lady golfers of any skill level tee off in our ‘Twisted Sisters’ special and enjoy a light dinner and a glass of wine afterwards.
