Since its founding in 1957, the principles of the Rideau View Golf Club have been rooted in family, inclusion and community. The legacy of its founders is a club which values its place in the community as a leader for equality and social and environmental responsibility.

A large part of Rideau View’s charm is its pastoral setting. There are no homes adjacent to fairways or the noise of passing traffic. The result is a relaxing environment that is still remarkably close to Ottawa’s urban centre.

Rideau View was founded in 1957 and its 18 holes were designed by Canadian architects Howard Watson (current back nine, 1958) and C.E. “Robbie” Robinson (the front nine, 1961). With six sets of tees ranging from 4,970 yards to over 7,000 yards, the course is playable for golfers of all skill levels.
